Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, was all smiles on her first official outing alone with Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday. Meghan and the Queen greeted the crowds on their royal visit to the Chester Town Hall.
Meghan Markle, 36, married Prince Harry, 33, last month to become The Duchess of Sussex.
She made sure to dress conservatively for her first official engagement with the Queen after the public uproar over her off-the-shoulder dress earlier this week.
Meghan wore a beige wool dress featuring a short cape by Givenchy Haute Couture. The cape covered every inch of her upper torso, leaving only her lower arms exposed.
Many observers commented on Meghan’s body language which they say looked a little stiff.
