Soul legend Patti LaBelle, 73, posed for photos outside the Good Morning America studios in New York City where she promoted the 2nd season of Patti LaBelle’s Place on the Cooking Channel.
An emotional Patti dedicated her hit song “You Are My Friend” to her dear friend, Aretha Franklin, during a concert at the Dell Music Center on Thursday. Franklin’s life was celebrated by 23 musical acts in a star-studded funeral in Detroit over the weekend. Patti was not among them.
