Video footage from outside the Atlanta Comedy Club in Norcross does not support comedian Katt Williams‘ claim that the husband of V-103’s Wanda Smith pulled a gun on him when he arrived at the club late Saturday.
The footage obtained by 11 Alive News shows Smith and her husband, LaMorris Sellers, waiting for the troubled comedian as he arrived outside the club.
Smith was reportedly still upset after Youtube video of a tense radio interview between herself and Williams went viral on Friday.
The footage from the club, which does not have sound, shows the diminutive 47-year-old comedian mouthing off at the couple before retreating with a burly bodyguard.
On Monday’s episode of V-103’s Frank & Wanda In the Morning radio show, Smith explained that Williams said, “I told you f—kin’ with me will make you go viral!”
Sellers defended his wife by telling Williams to “find something else to do.”
According to Smith, Williams reportedly told the 300-pound Sellers, “I’ll jump on your big ass!”
Williams told Gwinnett police that Sellers pointed a gun at his face and chased him and his bodyguard into the Food Depot next door to the club. But the video does not support his story.
Sellers told police that he had a gun but he did not point it at Williams.
The police report stated that, “as he was chasing Williams, his gun fell from his waistband and he bent to retrieve it however, he never pointed it at anyone.”
