The Meghan Markle pregnancy rumors went into overdrive when she arrived at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in Windsor, England on October 12.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a blue Givenchy frock under a Givenchy coat which she kept buttoned up even inside the Chapel. She never opened the coat throughout the ceremony, leaving uterus watchers to guess whether she was concealing a pregnancy.
Earlier photos of Meghan shows evidence of a growing baby bump, although she made no effort to hide it during this visit to a school on October 3.
The royal couple, who tied the knot in May, announced the royal baby news via a spokesperson for Kensington Palace on Monday morning.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” the statement reads.
The royal couple was the subject of rampant pregnancy rumors for months. Last month Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, took an elite babysitting course in California before flying to London to assume her royal duty as royal babysitter.
Ragland’s rep released her statement on Monday, saying “Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”
