If R&B singer Monica Brown looks a little tight in her recent Instagram photo shoots, it’s because she is the latest victim of felonious criminal activity around recording studios in Atlanta.
According to a source familiar with the situation, Mo’s car was broken into while she was inside a recording studio working on new music. I can’t name the recording studio for safety reasons.
Monica has a fleet of cars — all top of the line, including a Bentley and Mercedes Benz.
The good news is the Instagram model was inside the studio recording music, so her loyal fans can expect a new album this year or next year.
Atlanta’s premiere recording studios are magnets for petty criminals. The studios have increased security in the midst of a crime spree that doesn’t seem to be letting up.
Several rappers have lost their lives during shootouts at recording studios over the years. And just about every artist has had their cars broken into in the studio parking lots.
Monica and her children will star in a new reality TV show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, which debuts on VH1 next week.
