First-time mom Gabrielle Union shared social media images that showed her cuddling with her newborn daughter who was born to a surrogate last week.
Gabby captioned the images, “So perhaps I haven’t showered for brushed my teeth or slept, but I’m in heaven. I stink but I’m happy.”
The 46-year-old actress and author revealed her daughter was carried by a surrogate. Gabby spent years trying to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization procedures. But her efforts ended in miscarriages.
She received a lot of hate for posing in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown, as if she had just given birth.
Gabby was practicing a new-age fad called skin-to-skin contact, which supposedly accelerates bonding with newborn babies.
