Kim Porter, Sean Combs

Sean Combs is reportedly “too distraught” to give the eulogy for ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, who died suddenly of a cardiac arrest last week at age 47.

Porter is the mother of three of Combs’s 5 children. She was found dead in her bed at her Toluca Lake, Calif. mansion on Nov. 15. An autopsy was inconclusive and the coroner is awaiting toxicology results before determining the cause of death.

Porter’s body was flown to her hometown of Columbus, Georgia in preparation for her star-studded funeral on Saturday.

Porter will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery on St. Marys Road. She will be interred next to her mother, Sarah Porter, who died of cancer in 2014.

According to PEOPLE, Combs is scheduled to give the eulogy, but sources say he may be too broken up to speak. Singer Faith Evans will perform at the funeral which is closed to the public.

Pastor TD Jakes will officiate the service and give the eulogy.

Even though Combs has been seen out and about with his longtime girlfriend Cassie Ventura — whom Porter despised — a source tells PEOPLE that Combs is too shaken to give Porter’s eulogy.

“This is the most awful, sad and unreal situation for him. It’s a nightmare,” the source told PEOPLE.”He is very much struggling. He isn’t sleeping.”

The source said Combs had a “very special relationship” with Porter, who lived in Atlanta for many years and sent her sons to private schools in Buckhead, an affluent neighborhood in northern Atlanta.

“He always had a very special relationship with Kim. Despite not being together romantically, he loved Kim. It was really true love and he is hurting badly right now,” the source said.

In reality, Porter and Combs had a bitter, love-hate relationship. He used his money and his vast influence to control the women in his life and to stifle their creativity.

The Three Brown Girls had planned to hold a weekly music industry night at Combs’s restaurant, but he shut the event down after just a few months.

When Combs’s other baby mama, Sarah Chapman (pictured), befriended an Atlanta blogger, Combs flew into a rage and threatened her until she broke off her friendship with the blogger.

Porter’s 4 children: Quincy Brown, 27, Christian Combs, 20, and 11-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James will attend their mother’s funeral with Combs.

Columbus native Dallas Austin, a Grammy-award winning songwriter and producer who went to high school with Porter, will also be in attendance at her funeral on Saturday.
