Actor Terrence Howard made his ex-wife very happy by proposing to her again. Howard proposed to the mother of his two youngest children — three years after they secretly divorced.
The “Empire” star took to Instagram on Christmas Day to share the news that he proposed to his ex-wife Mira Pak, with whom he shares sons Qirin, 3, and Hero, 2.
Terrence, who turns 50 in March, popped the question to Mira during a dinner in Beverly Hills, where he raised a special toast to their future together.
“We have an idea of how long we think life is, but we do know how short it can be,” he said in video footage posed online.
“It took me 45 years to find you… But now that I have you in my 50th year, I will spend the rest of eternity at your side. And I pray that everybody finds that one that will complete them for all eternity because it means everything. I love you.”
“I love you too, baby,” Mira responded while fighting back tears.
Howard also shared photos of Mira’s seven-carat diamond ring, and expressed his gratitude to jewelry designer Ben Baller and owners of custom jewelry company IF & Co. for helping to make his wife-to-be a very happy woman.
“Thank you @benballer @ifandco The Most Gifted Jeweler in The World!!!” Terrence captioned the post. “Valentines coming soon, let’s show them how to truly Love your Woman!”
Also proposing this Christmas was up-and-coming rapper Safaree Samuels who gave his girlfriend of 3 months, Erica Mena, a $175,000 engagement ring.
According to my readers who are certified accountants, Mira and Erica can keep their engagement rings if their engagements go sour. A law permits scorned ex-fiancees to keep their rings as “gifts” if the baubles were given to them during the holidays.
