Pop legends Janet Jackson and Stevie Nicks will be among the influential artists to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year (2019).
The 52-year-old Diva will join her brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael who were inducted in 1997 as The Jackson 5.
Stevie Nicks is already a member with her band Fleetwood Mac, but she will be inducted in her own right.
The induction ceremony will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 29.
After hearing the news, Janet told Rolling Stone magazine: “Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.”
Her brother Michael was also inducted as a solo artist in 2001.
New Hall of Fame members are asked to perform at their induction ceremony. Janet’s fans are excited to see her throw down at the induction ceremony.
Congrats Janet!
