Remy Ma has agreed to turn over financial records involving Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, who was found in contempt of court for evading a default judgment.
Remy, 38, is still hospitalized with post-pregnancy complications following the birth of her first daughter with husband Papoose.
A rep for the rapper said she received a blood transfusion for excessive bleeding during childbirth and she is expected to be discharged soon from the hospital with her baby.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Remy was found in contempt of court for ignoring a subpoena to appear in court on the legal matter.
In 2017, LDNX Records won a judgment against Herbert, left, Lady Gaga, right, Remy Ma and Interscope Records for a business related issue. But LDNX has been unable to collect on $380,000 owed to them by Herbert.
The company claims they have been unsuccessful in finding Herbert’s sources of income. They claim he has not paid a dime and they are trying to find bank accounts and other assets to satisfy the judgment.
Herbert is a music executive who at one time managed Remy and Gaga.
A judge gave her extra time to have her baby, but the time has elapsed.
Remy has agreed to turn over the requested information on Herbert. She was also ordered to hand over to the court any money she owes Herbert for any joint work.
LDNX accused Gaga, Remy Ma and Interscope of failing to provide complete and accurate answers to the information they demanded in the subpoena.
Gaga eventually turned over the requested information and the company is no longer seeking sanctions against her.
