Pregnant Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle traveled to New York City from London, England to attend her star-studded baby shower on Tuesday. Meghan and her close friend, tennis superstar Serena Williams were seen arriving back to the Mark Hotel after attending a girls lunch at The Surrey Hotel in New York.
Meghan’s other bestie, “Suits” actress Abigail Spencer was spotted arriving at the Mark Hotel to hang out with her close friend.
Meghan celebrated her $300,000 baby shower in the posh penthouse of the Mark Hotel. The baby shower was attended by 15 of her closest friends, including Amal Clooney, wife of American actor George Clooney.
According to the Daily Mail UK, Meghan choose the Mark Hotel because the hotel restaurant is a favorite of her pal Serena. Meghan is pictured with her longtime friend Markus Anderson.
If you’re concerned about Meghan spending the Queen’s money, Serena picked up the $75,000 tab for the penthouse and the catering for the party.
Meghan flew back to London on Wednesday after spending 5 days in the big apple with her celebrity friends.
