The mother of rapper Gucci Mane’s eldest son wants authorities to arrest him for failure to pay her legal fees.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sheena Evans claims Gucci was ordered to pay a meager $2,495 to cover her attorney’s fees but he has failed to do so. She calls his failure to pay the petty fees “outrageous and egregious” and “another willful disregard for this Court’s authority.”
She wants the court to fine the braggadocios rapper $1,000 for contempt of court.
Gucci and his wife Keyshia Ka’Oir spend most of their time online flaunting their presumed wealth.
The couple regularly posts Instagram photos of pricey jewelry, real estate in Georgia and Miami, a yacht, and a fleet of luxury cars that would make car dealers blush.
“Not only has the Respondent demonstrated that he has no concern for the authority of this Court, or for the deadlines set by this Court,” Evans’ attorney writes, “Respondent has also exhibited an alarming disregard of the consequences of his contemptuous behavior. He could care less.”
Evans claims Gucci has failed to turn over financial documents that her lawyer requested to determine the source of his cash flow.
She wants the judge to immediately issue an arrest order so police can lock him up until he “purges himself of his contempt.”
As The Blast first reported, Evans sued Gucci Mane seeking to increase the child support for their son Keitheon (born in 2007) from $2,076 a month to $20k. She claimed there was a significant increase in Gucci’s income since he left prison in 2011. As an example, she pointed to his alleged $1 million wedding on a BET reality show.
Back in 2011, Gucci and Evans reached an agreement on custody and support over their son. She was awarded primary physical custody with Gucci getting visitation. He was ordered to pay $2,026 a month in child support based on his stated monthly income at the time of $24k.
