Cardi B can relax now that one of her accusers who claimed she drugged and robbed him has retracted his story. Cardi came under fire when an old video surfaced in which she bragged about drugging and robbing her male customers.

The Bronx rapper was unrepentant as she recalled her criminal activity that could land her in prison.

Then a man named Ak Ore Akim came forward with a harrowing tale about being drugged and robbed by the former stripper.

Akim accused the 26-year-old of slipping a drug in his drink and robbing him of his cash and valuables 5 years ago.

Akim even posted old pictures of himself posing with Cardi in the strip club where she worked. The 3 photos shows a scantily clad Cardi sitting on Akim’s lap while he flashes a fistful of cash. The pics were damning evidence.

Akim’s story had a “Ring” of truth to it. And it looked like Cardi might finally pay for her sexual misconduct and grand larceny.

Then another NY man, Kevin Smith, stepped forward accusing the mother-of-1 of committing the same crime against him. His story was word-for-word the same as Akim’s.

Smith claimed he was robbed in a NY motel room after meeting Cardi at a strip club. It isn’t clear where his story originated or who actually made the claim first.

But just as a New York prosecutor was preparing a case against the Bronx rapper, Akim admitted he made the whole thing up.

Following the backlash last week, Cardi issued an apology of sorts.

“There are rappers that glorified murder violence drugs [and] robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live. I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and I feel a responsibility not to glorify it.

“I made the choice that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not.”
