Solange Knowles resorted to using a standard technique to promote her new single “Binz” off her new album When I Get Home.

When all else fails: just twerk.

The music video is noteworthy because it was recorded entirely on a MacBook Pro.

“Binz” was co-written by Solange and The-Dream.

I just wanna wake up to the suns and Saint Laurent
Hundred thousand dollars on the fronts and the blunts
I just wanna wake up on goodbye, only I
Out in the Rolls that’s rented, windows tinted

We got a big spendin’, big spendin’
I’ma get back on my feet, give me a minute
I’ma feel this in my thighs, like evenin’ it
Young summer, young summer, give me a minute

The 32-year-old Houston native, and pop singer Beyonce’s younger sister, dropped her fourth studio album, When I Get Home, on March 1.

When I Get Home landed with a thud on all music-streaming platforms. Her confused fans didn’t know what to make of the 19 tracks and disjointed interludes.

The album disappointed many who expected a follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-winning album A Seat at the Table, that offered up the hit singles “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky”.

One critic noted that Solange sings on When I Get Home, “like a group of harmonizing, sunlit Janet Jacksons.”

It should be noted that Janet is iconic more for choreography and stage shows than for her singing.
