Toni Braxton and her sons Diesel, 16, and Denim, 17, joined her siblings Tamar, Towanda, Traci and Trina at the WE TV Season Six Celebration of Braxton Family Values at the Doheny Room in West Hollywood, CA on Tuesday, April 2.
Toni, 51, showed off her toned figure in a one-sleeved white minidress with plunging neckline, which she accessorized with open toe sandals stilettos. She also wore a black lacefront wig parted down the middle.
In an interview on the red carpet, Toni shut down rumors that she and fiancé Birdman called it quits.
“We don’t know what happened,” Toni told Entertainment Tonight. “It just kind of [came out of nowhere]. Someone said it and we were like, ‘OK, we’ll just ride with it because it’ll give us some privacy. So that’s good. But we’re good.”
Clearly Toni forgot that she and Birdman announced their split on social media earlier this year.
In January, Birdman announced their breakup on his Instagram Stories. “It’s over,” he posted.
Toni then shared an Instagram photo which she captioned, “Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice… but ALWAYS choose to be chosen.”
Naturally, her followers and bloggers assumed the couple had parted ways after learning he was as broke as she was.
