Chrissy Teigen had to check her social media followers for telling her how to parent her son, Miles.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model posted her video of Miles trying to walk in a well-appointed marble bathroom.
Miles, who turns 15 months in two weeks, is just learning how to walk. The toddler is still very unsteady on his feet – which concerns Chrissy’s Instagram followers.
Many of her followers questioned her decision to let the toddler walk so close to the edge of a marble tub. The baby could suffer a serious head injury if he slipped and fell against the tub’s edge.
One IG user wrote: “It’s nobody’s business but her, but that’s dumb of her to do, kid could of slip n hit he’s head. It’s just common sense.”
Another user wrote: “…too much marble, try the carpet, if god forbid he busted his head and had development issues whose fault would it be.”
Her fans didn’t mean any harm, but Chrissy couldn’t handle the criticism. She went on a blocking spree, calling her concerned followers “dummies.”
“I have to block like 20-30 people every time I post my kids,” she wrote. “So many dummies. Is someone forcing you at gunpoint to be annoying.”
Question: Was Chrissy’s fans correct to criticize her? If your child was learning to walk would you let him walk on a hard surface or carpet?
