Chrissy Teigen had to check her social media followers for telling her how to parent her son, Miles.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model posted her video of Miles trying to walk in a well-appointed marble bathroom.
Miles, who turns 15 months in two weeks, is just learning how to walk. The toddler is still very unsteady on his feet – which concerns Chrissy’s Instagram followers.
Many of her followers questioned her decision to let the toddler walk so close to the edge of a marble tub. The baby could suffer a serious head injury if he slipped and fell against the tub’s edge.
One IG user wrote: “It’s nobody’s business but her, but that’s dumb of her to do, kid could of slip n hit he’s head. It’s just common sense.”
Another user wrote: “…too much marble, try the carpet, if god forbid he busted his head and had development issues whose fault would it be.”
Her fans didn’t mean any harm, but Chrissy couldn’t handle the criticism. She went on a blocking spree, calling her concerned followers “dummies.”
“I have to block like 20-30 people every time I post my kids,” she wrote. “So many dummies. Is someone forcing you at gunpoint to be annoying.”
Question: Was Chrissy’s fans correct to criticize her? If your child was learning to walk would you let him walk on a hard surface or carpet?
He needs the Stride Rite high boot hard soled shoe! I’m talking the old support shoe and not these soft shoes.
These young moms dont know nothing about those Stride Rites. Those shoes were so sturdy you could pass the shoes down about 2 or 3 times before throwing them out. Moms today wanna put their toddlers in Jordans.
Why do people keep posting their kids when they know other people are going to comment? I don’t get it.
When u post your kids ppl can say what they want and then u can block them. Who cares.
My kids walked at 8 and 9 months old and I never thought about whether the ground/floor was hard or soft. There are hazards everywhere.
But he’s barefeet. Toddler shoes regardless of the brand doesn’t get much wear and tear so you can still pass them down 2/3 times.
If you don’t want people to say anything about your kids keep your kids off the internet-it’s as simple as that because you can’t control what other people feel and think
My daughters had Stride Rite and Buster Browns for years until their feet had stability. Chrissy can afford that $30.
How about she just stop posting social media altogether. If she not saying some dumb ignorant sh*t, she’s blocking folks.
Why bother? ?
If you got thin skin then don’t post your shyt online. Why do people feel like they have to share their boring life with the world? That’s what drove me off of Facebook. I got tired of seeing other people’s boring a$$ed photos.
He’d probably do better with some shoes on to support his ankles… But I’m old fashioned
dont post your kid if u dont want the advise of strangers?????
Same thing I thought
“It’s nobody’s business but her, but that’s dumb of her to do, kid could of slip n hit he’s head. It’s just common sense.”
I’m more disturbed by the grammar in this post.
She shouldn’t be so easily offended by people’s comments. Everybody has an opinion even when they don’t have kids or know anything about raising a child, if it bothers you social media isnt for you. Secondly, while it helps with safety to only walk on soft surfaces, realistically it’s not always the case and no body wants to discourage their kids from walking or constantly picking them up when they actually want to walk. If there was alot of people around or obstacles I’d just grab their hand unless people were in a rush and likely to knock my baby over, I didnt stop them. But that’s just me and my parenting. Usually, if they fell they always ended up on their butt and would sit and make a pout face until I told them to get off dirty floor.
Bloop! ?
“I have to block like 20-30 people every time I post my kids,” she wrote. “So many dummies. Is someone forcing you at gunpoint to be annoying.”

Sorry Chrissy you’re the dummy this time; especially with him barely keeping his balance near that sharp azz tub edge ?!
Wish her annoying fugly self would just DISAPPEAR. SO STOP PUTTING UR SH1T OUT THERE
Me and you both. Babies use to wear Stride shoes, they helped babies feet. Now babies are wearing damn Nikes. They end up walking like Fred Sanford. Do you remember when you got your feet measured at the store?!
I posted the same thing.
But she can criticize everyone else. I can’t stand her nor John.
Yup I remember the foot measures… I think that’s why a lot of people walk on their tip toes or don’t step down properly…because they didn’t learn with walking shoes
I don’t think her followers where that critical, they didn’t say anything derogatory about miles….I do believe they were genuinely concern about his safety. Chrissy saddown somewhere!!!!
You can’t tell people nothing about they kids nowadays. IMO he should have had on some hard bottoms (Stride Rite) if he’s gonna be walking around on hard floors like this to support his little ankles. ???? But hey… that’s HER kid and HER conscience if he hurts himself on HER watch. Do you Sis!!
I genuinely panicked when I saw him teetering on the edge of the tub… and then when he wobbled to the carpet ?
I love blocking
Its the internet way to put your hand up like skrrrrrrnot here bish. Watching the video i thought omg hes so cute not hes gonna bust his head and die ?
Why are people so invested in what they celebs do with their kids? I look and kept it moving.
I remember those foot measuring devices. Stores don’t use them anymore because they want you to buy shoes even if they don’t fit. The salesmen says the leather stretches as you walk, etc. I buy my shoes online now.
So he’s almost a year & a half… and can’t walk??
Dear JESUS!!! You can scroll right along!
Some of these guys let the wife’s parents stay with them all up in the business while they own parents no where near the baby or in photographs
Here’s a PSA for all social media posters, ESPECIALLY the ones on Instagram. Whenever you post be prepared to receive at least one negative comment. IG is not for the weak
Or some Buster Brown’s. Those shoes were so sturdy that one kick from a toddler would bring you to your knees, lol. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/262ea9e74ed0b39209810747193141b86f3d156a54145fea3df61a54729b210d.gif
Wow.. the bigger thing is who cares ?????. About the kidd and the whole family.
Facts!
Where is his hard bottom shoes at?!
Chrissy T. is a textbook case of what a CUNexTuesday is. Cannot stand her.
I really dislike this pie face bish. Let her raise this child in what ever fashion she chooses. She can dish it but cant take it. People were only stating facts. But if he hit his head she would be shocked. Gtfoh moon face.
With a handle like yours u should be used to the drag.
She has a weird moon face that is not cute.
If I was a celeb I wouldn’t even read the comments. Nobody got time for all of that.
My stomach did flip flops instantly as soon as I saw the marble.. #GodTakePillowandGiveMeTheCase ?????
Her son will probably be gay….just like her furry feminine husband. Chrissy looks more man than John…and she is not easy on the eyes. It says a lot about her as a mother. Your damn son is over a year old…..and can’t freaking walk?????????????????????????????????????????????????
Arrest this bish.
Miles was a preemie so um sure he needs a little more support….rather it’s white hard bottoms or high top sneakers.
Coulda limited or turned the comments off.
“Dummy”
Wow I forgot about the shoe measuring device. I remember when the shoe salesmen would sit in front of yew, take his time and measure your feet with accuracy. Dew they still have feet measurements in stores?
I remember those stride rite shoes and the black and white saddle oxfords.
Lol… 15mos is too long..they must have constantly picked him up…my daughter was tryna walk at 9 months. OAN: soft surfaces are a safer for toddlers and babies
that is marble overkill
My baby waited until 16 months. Christmas Day 2017, she just got up on her own and walked. Can’t stop her now ????.
I don’t have carpet (yuck) in my home, so should I not allow my 9 month old to cruise along our furniture?
Do they live in a freakin’ museum?! That is waaay too much marble. Put that baby in a child proof area you MORON!
Those were the shoes! They kept the feet properly in line and strengthen those ankles. I avoided trendy shoes until the gate was stable. The trendy for soft shoes was a money grab for manufacturers but not good for the kids! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9b458a93e107c8336eec017a832f9ac93dd7c42c8f6fa91741dd0476485cebef.jpg
Who cares what Big Block Head Chrissy Teigen the chick is so annoying… I don’t know how J Legend does it.
Where you been?
it is dangerous and made me nervous seeing him almost fall
Chrissy went on the defensive because even without the tub, his head or body hitting that marble was unintentionally recklessness!
The truth hurts, and as for moms, guilt can come easy, and it lingers!
She made a mistake or used poor judgment!
My son is almost 8 months and pulling up to stand using whatever he can get his hands on… We have tile everywhere?. I’m like his shadow though.
I feel you on this one.
Chrissy has no legs to stand on she actively invites peoole ibto her life who have abd share their personal opinions. What’s equally as pathetic is us being on this site daily all caught up in other peoples affairs
‘Well-appointed’ or not. That’s an ugly a$$ bathroom.
Why does she post her kids in the first place?? Give your kids some privacy.
I saw one at a sneaker outlet. I was shocked.
https://media0.giphy.com/media/Z9OGuQyrfHAE8/giphy.gif
I swear social media is a blessing and a curse. Turn the comments off.
Looks like a public restroom in an upscale department store….
Am I a bad person for not giving a crap one way or another?
The sharp point at the edge of the bathtub is worrisome but he can learn to walk on any surface. Turn off your comments.
There are people who have tile all over their homes, particularly in places like Florida, so they will have the same issue. Eh… insert apathetic shrug right here.
I don’t like the idea of tile throughout because, for me, it makes the house feels cold and industrial as opposed to “homey”. I didn’t even want hard wood throughout because I feel think the family room should have carpet since that’s typically where everyone congregates… people, particularly kids, sit on the floor next to the sofa, when you have sleepovers, people typically end up there stretched across the floor watching television, etc so, for that reason, I want that room, if no other, to be comfortable.
I’m also not a huge fan of bedrooms with tile or hardwood for the same reason, but I can compromise and put a huge, plush rug in there.
While a kid learning to walk around all that hard a$$ed tile would make my heart flutter, I have a feeling that that entire house is probably not kid friendly. My understanding is that they live in a high rise apartment in NYC and should probably re-think that since they now have two children as those places tend to not be so kid friendly. Where do kids get to be kids in luxury high rise buildings? Where do they see grass in Manhattan, where are the parks, the back yard – etc? Let those kids be kids.
Why TF do these ego driven, fan acceptance, self absorbing celebuturds think that every doting moment of their personal life is something the world has to see…. Then becomes upset when they don’t get responses they want to hear. FOH….
Your right
She calling people dummies when she the real one.
I’ve never understood that. Everything doesn’t have to be posted. You know the public is critical, keep stuff to yourself.
He’ll be fine.
He ain’t certified until he gets that scar above the eye. Damn near every male I know has one..lol
OMG! Ppl need to get a life. https://media3.giphy.com/media/602bZRLD6YkXDX3oBx/giphy.gif
no but asking this question does …… hahahahaa
blocking is good … and allowed lol
the old chrissy would have cursed them out so there IS growth here HAHAHAA ….
Namely celebrities. They broadcast everything then get mad when people comment.
That bathroom is BEAUTIFUL!
Here’s the thing with SM users who LOVE to post their kids, THEY’RE OPEN GAME! Don’t f’in post those kids of you don’t want MFers telling you they’re ugly, not well kept, and all the other BS ppl say. Chrissy is annoying but I like her. If she posts them then she has to deal with the backlash.
And any DUMB F*CK Who says the kid should be walking blah blah blah. I didn’t walk until 16 mos. My Dad never put me down to learn. He ALWAYS held me and I slept on his chest. The Dr. said to just put me down and I’d walk, Mom said I was “retarded” LOL!! I know that word is not PC but at the time it was. My Dad knew I was fine.
Stop Crying Chrissy and just stop posting your children. You know everybody is an expert on everything in these social media streets. Just get it together, why don’tcha.
Yes. I saw Tia Mowrey post her baby girl walking hard bottom shoes and all. I smiled. I remember those days with my kids. Walking shoes from Stride Rite or Buster Brown.
It’s not ok. I thought you were retarded when you said it took you to 16 months to learn to walk.
lol
Remember when you send them in to be bronzed. I had my son and daughters done. Damn! I’m old! lol!
My daughter has two. It’s right of passage.
The whole family..looks like Brothers & Sisters..
lol thats so cute
right!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol…i have 2 as well
FACTS!!!!
Some specialty stores (read: high end shoe stores) still have them.
2?? She’s the real MVP!!
Worry about your own kids who are probably doing something right now that could be considered dangerous while you are on SM judging other folks! Bloop!
Yes, I cringed looking at the video. The baby looked like he was going to hit his head.
??????
Well if you post all your business dont start feeling some kind of way when people comment. Everyone has the right to say what they want when you posting $hit that really xhould be shared among family & friends. Everyone looking for attention I know kids hv cute pics & you want you share them but keep it friends & family. Too many weird people out here. May I just say she looks odd.
I just hate moms who breastfeed waaaaay too long. Not walking no worries we can work on that..lol But I’ll be damn if Im breastfeeding a baby with teeth and knows how to read. Reading hanging on a nipple
Well damn ?
Here is a novel ideal…..Don’t post anything about YOUR KIDS! Problem solved https://media3.giphy.com/media/QN1rUjvEmSO1a/giphy.gif
