Actor Titus Burgess let Andy Cohen have it on social media after his guest appearance on Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
The segment started out normally, as Cohen chatted with Burgess and male-to-female transgender Laverne Cox.
The conversation turned to actor/comedian Eddie Murphy, whom Titus worked with on the set of his new movie, Dolemite.
“Was he cool to work with?” Cohen asked Titus.
“He was wonderful to work with,” Titus responded. “He is a brilliant man, and I’m so excited that, uh, for the people who, younger generations who do not know Eddie Murphy will learn why he is the legend that he is.”
Things went left when Cohen asked Titus, “Did you get to chat with him all?”
“Of course I did,” Titus responded. “Why wouldn’t I?”
Cohen then says, “Well, now, I just wonder if you got close at all because he was very problematic for the gheys at one point…”
“Oh, I see,” said Titus. “He wasn’t problematic for Titus. We had a wonderful time. He was great. Any troubles he may have had with ghey people I guess are gone because he loved me.”
With that, Titus rolled his eyes at Cohen. Later, he took to Instagram to write a blistering post, calling Cohen “a messy queen.”

I don’t typically watch this show, but for some reason I caught this episode and it was absolutely something in the air between these two gay men. Laverne had to throw Titus a look at one point. You know that look where you girlfriend says with her face “uh uh do do that here with me here” look on her face

Eddie’s (whom I worked with in “Dreamgirls” among other things with was robbed of an Oscar for that movie he was BRILLIANT in it) new role in “Dolemite” in which I attended an ULTRA private unedited screening of it earlier this year,will finally get another chance to win an Oscar again. He was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in this!
Catch it this fall on Netflix(part of his $70 million deal) the whole cast was excellent in it including Titus & Wesley Snipes.
