Bobby Brown is not hospitalized in critical condition, nor did not get hit by a speeding car, according to his lawyer. Bobby’s sister, Leolah Brown posted a message on social media that claimed her brother was hit by a speeding car that fled the scene.
It is unclear why Leolah attempted to spread false information about the R&B legend.
“There are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend,” the statement from attorney Christopher Brown reads, according to The Blast.
The 50-year-old New Edition singer wrote an open letter on Friday and reminded people about the formation of The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House.
The foundation is focused on raising the awareness and prevention surrounding domestic abuse.
A mission statement on the website reads, “The Bobbi Kristina’s Serenity House is committed to empowerment; regaining power within, instead of seeking approval and power from the outside sources.”
Bobbi Kristina died in 2015, after being found face down in a bathtub. She was brain dead for 6 months.
