It looks like Sean “Puffy” Combs’ trip to Italy was a waste of time. Sean was spotted dining in Italy with his fiancée Lori Harvey and her folks, Steve and Marjorie Harvey. According to a well-placed source, Sean did not get permission from her parents to marry Lori, 22.
The source says after arriving in Italy, the 49-year-old music mogul “officially” asked Steve for his blessing to marry his stepdaughter, but Marjorie quickly interrupted and said no.
The source who wasn’t there, but heard about what happened from a witness, said Marjorie’s exact words were, “You can’t marry my baby!”
Sean reportedly took the rejection in stride and laughed and joked with Steve.
As for why a man old enough to be Lori’s daddy would want to date a 22-year-old, another well-connected source who knows Diddy personally, said everyone knows Sean “objectifies” women, which explains why he’s never been married.
“You don’t marry people you don’t respect,” said the source, who added that Sean “sees value” in marrying Lori because she’s young; she comes from money; she is refined and cultured and she was taught well by her mother.
