A Detroit woman faces attempted murder charges after shooting her life partner 11 times, including 4 times in the vagina.
Police have not formally charged Tiffany Wallace, but she is being held without bond after shooting Airrion Wallace 11 times on Monday morning.
Wallace said Tiffany Wallace shot her after she asked for a divorce after 12 years of marriage.
In an interview with Fox 2 News from her hospital bed, Wallace said she asked for a divorce after she caught Tiffany with another woman.
“Because I can handle a lot of things but I cannot handle infidelity,” she told Fox 2.
“She shot me four times in my vagina, four times in my leg, three times in my stomach,” Wallace said.
“She wanted me to die because she has always felt if she can’t have me, no one can have me.”
She said she stayed conscious long enough to stumble outside and ask neighbors for help.
“I had to gather as much strength as I could, to get down my stairs and get outside, because the neighbors had heard it,” she said. “As soon as I opened the door there was already people out there. I said, ‘Please can you call the police.'”
Police arrested Tiffany Wallace outside her home. She told police she shot Wallace in self-defense, according to Fox 2.
The family uploaded graphic photos to a Gofundme account to raise money for Wallace’s hospital bills.
