Rapper Dave East is facing battery charges after he allegedly attacked a woman during a threesome in his Las Vegas hotel room.
The 31-year-old Gemini was cited for battery on a woman after he invited 2 groupies back to his hotel room for a private after party.
According to TMZ, one of the women was upset that the “Hate Me Now” rapper showed the other groupie more attention during the intimate encounter.
The groupie “flipped out” and threw champagne bottles from across the room. 2 of the bottles hit their target, leaving cuts on East’s arm and leg, which police noted in their report.
The woman’s version of the story was different. She told cops that during the steamy sexual encounter, she and East got into an argument and he threw 5 or 6 punches at her, hitting her once on the arm.
She said she fled to the bathroom, where she called 911.
Other witnesses, including a man and woman, said they entered the bedroom after the ruckus began.
A female witness stated the woman was the aggressor in the altercation, while East’s buddy only recalled seeing the woman hurling bottles.
Both parties were cited for misdemeanor battery, but nobody was arrested. Dave and the woman were treated at separate hospitals, according to TMZ.
Question: Ladies, would you go back to a hotel room with a rapper? Which rapper?
Update: Dave East’s camp reached out to Sandrarose.com with more information about the altercation between East and a woman:
“In your piece, can you please update to include the statement from Dave’s attorney, Stacey Richman, who says the woman threw a soap dispenser at Dave — but says the rapper didn’t respond with violence, and instead was concerned for everyone’s safety. Richman claims Dave justifiably took her by the arm and put her out of the room.
Richman denies Dave assaulted anyone and says he got a CAT scan after the alleged incident … doctor’s orders. They are waiting on the results.”
