Tina Knowles-Lawson celebrated the 38th birthday of her favorite child, Beyonce Knowles-Carter, on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
The 65-year-old shared a loving picture of herself and her superstar daughter on Instagram, and explained how her daughter’s birth helped her feel her deceased mom’s love.
“38 years ago today you came into my life and i know without a shred of doubt that God sent you!!!, she began. “I had recently lost my mom and never thought that i could feel that particular kind of love again. The moment i saw you i knew that that was IT !!!!
“We’ve been the best of friends since then . You have brought me such Joy and pride and love and friendship !!! Your heart is as big as Texas !! You are one of the best moms ever ! And I love you soo much,” Tina continued, adding heart and birthday cake emojis.
She concluded: “Have the best birthday EVER!!!! Mom.”
Tina, who is also mother to singer Solange Knowles, 33, and a grandmother of four, shares her two daughters with ex-husband Mathew Knowles. The couple divorced in 2011, and she remarried in 2015 to Poltergeist actor Richard Lawson.
Some fans wondered aloud why Tina always lavishes attention on Beyonce and not Solange.
