Kanye West says social media entices men like him to stray from their marriages by hosting free photos of half naked women.
Kanye, 42, says he “suffers like Jesus” whenever he surfs social media, only to be confronted by images of women in various stages of undress.
The former rapper says social media tests a man’s limits with all those sexy photos.
In an interview with Apple Music, Kanye compared social media to “modern day cigarettes” for their addictive qualities.
“I suffer – and I appreciate the suffering because we can just feel a little bit of what Jesus felt when we suffer, but social media makes me suffer,” he said.
‘I suffer from that and by me saying this out loud, I’m sure there’s other married men that suffer in a similar way that are happy to hear me say, “Oh ya, I’m suffering.”‘
Wen asked why this is a specific problem for married men, he answered, “Because social media prompts women in particular to put out content that they wouldn’t have put out…”.
Kanye said the immediate availability of smut on social media only aggravates his sex addiction.
“When I was younger and I wanted to see something like that I had to pay someone that was older to go to 7/11 and buy it,” he said, referring to p0rn magazines.
Kanye, who shares four children with his socialite wife Kim Kardashian-West, said his addiction to p0rn began when he discovered a Playboy magazine when he was 5. He said the discovery “affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life”.
Kanye previously asked his wife, Kim, to tone down her sexy outfits. He also reportedly asked other rappers to avoid having premarital sex while working on his No. 1 album, Jesus Is King.
Kanye was admitted into a psychiatric hospital in 2016 after he experienced a psychological emergency (mental breakdown).
