Now you can own a piece of Grammy history. The iconic Versace dress worn by Jennifer Lopez to the 2000 Grammys before she became a household name is going on sale for only 10 days.
The stunning green floral cutout silk dress that Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards on Sean “Puffy” Combs’ arm is on sale for $9,325.
The Hustlers star sported an updated replica of the infamous dress during Milan Fashion Week in Italy last month.
According to Us Weekly, Lopez, 50, requested that the revamped dress be more revealing and show more skin.
The replica dress sparked renewed demand from social media influencers and fashionistas who want to floss the barely there garment on Instagram.
According to WENN.com, the dress is on sale now through the Moda Operandi website, but it will only be available for purchase for 10 days and will not ship until May 5, 2020.
The website begs for your patience since the dress is being custom hand sewn just for you.
J.Lo recently recalled the impact of “that dress” on her YouTube channel, revealing the look created “an extra kinetic energy” on the red carpet.
“It just goes to show you the power of fashion and the power of those types of moments,” she said. “I know people try to make it frivolous at times, but what those things do is they give people an inspiration. It puts a beautiful moment out into the world. One dress can change the trajectory of how people dress for the next 10 years. It’s a crazy impact that fashion can have.”
