American singer Kelly Rowland was spotted having lunch after shopping with a friend in West Hollywood on Thursday. Kelly reportedly split from her husband of 5 years, Tim Weatherspoon, months ago.
In paparazzi photos, Kelly, 38, and her friend were seen embracing after having lunch and shopping.
Rumors began to swirl that Kelly and Tim were no longer a couple after she stopped wearing her wedding ring on multiple occasions. Then he stopped wearing his wedding ring, and Kelly was spotted attending celebrity functions alone. Tim still functions as her business manager.
Friends say Tim grew tired of Kelly’s jet-setting lifestyle. In 2011 she became a judge on the eighth season of The X Factor UK. The couple used up their frequent flyer miles jetting from the West Coast to the UK.
Kelly and Tim were seen out & about in Los Angeles last week. Kelly had an annoyed look on her face, while Tim seemed to be amused. Neither wore their wedding rings.
A source said Tim intentionally booked Kelly’s gig in Australia – far away from California, where his mistress lives.
“It’s like Wendy and Kevin all over again,” whispered an insider. Wendy Williams, 55, filed for divorce from her cheating husband Kevin Hunter, 47, after he welcomed a baby girl with his longtime mistress in March.
