Whitney Houston’s former personal assistant said she and Whitney planned to confront Wendy Williams for gossiping about her and Whitney.

Robyn Crawford appeared on Wendy’s popular talk show to hawk her new book, A Song For You: My Life With Whitney Houston.

Robyn, 55, was rumored to be Whitney’s lover, but Whitney frequently denied the rumors – and became furious the longer the rumors persisted.

Robyn told Wendy that she “had been talking about Whitney and myself for so long,” and she said they had plans to confront Wendy.

Whitney, pictured with the late Kim Porter, drowned in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Feb 11, 2012.

Robyn said Whitney was upset over Wendy gossiping that they were lovers. “Everyone lived by the radio back then. We’re in the car, you’re talking like you lived with us, like you’re roommates with us,” Robyn told Wendy. “We’re in the car, sitting still and Whitney would say, ‘Who the… who is she? Who is this woman? I don’t even know what she looks like,'” Robyn recalled.

Robyn said Whitney planned to ambush Wendy outside the studio and confront her over the hurtful rumors.

“We were gonna… We didn’t know what you looked like and our plan was to go down to Hudson Street … and wait for you right outside,” Robyn told Wendy.

“We weren’t gonna fight, we just wanted to see you face-to-face and have a chat,” Robyn said.
