An employee at a nursing facility in San Diego, California is taking responsibility for the deaths of 11 elderly Trump supporters.

The worker made the shocking confession in a private DM message to a user on Reddit.com.

“Hey, I work in a retirement home and care for lots of trump supporters in their last days,” he wrote. “I can tell you with certainty that 11 people (all verified trump supporters) could have been resuscitated/prevented from [dying] had I taken the appropriate measures.”

The person added: “I am literally letting you fuckers die off. These people vote like 100% of the time so it counts.”

The man went on to blame Trump supporters on Reddit’s pro-Trump forum, The_Donald, for his actions.

“Every time I come on The Donald and see something that fucking disgusts me (e.g. “Its Okay to be White” postings) I note it and then take it out on a trump supporter in the home I work at (for example I have loaded food with diuretics, withheld medicine and sample provided the incorrect medicine).”

The direct message was later deleted, but not before the recipient took a screenshot of the message and posted it to The_Donald and on 4chan, an Internet forum for hackers.

The worker, who appears to be Black, was quickly doxxed (identified) by 4chan. His contact information – including the facility where he works – were posted on both boards.

The man hastily deleted his Reddit and LinkedIn accounts. His comment history on Reddit is littered with anti-Trump commentary such as this comment about Trump supporters: “Literally the worst group of people in this country. Man I HATE THESE people so GODAMN much.”

Less than 24 hours later, AMN Healthcare, which operates the nursing facility where the man works, confirmed the person is an employee who still works for the company.

“The individual who works for us is not a clinician, does not work in a clinical setting or work in a location where patients are cared for. However, we take this very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation.”

AMN Healthcare has not provided an update on Twitter.com in over 24 hours.

Question: Is the employee’s hate speech protected under the First Amendment? Would you feel comfortable leaving your elderly loved one in the facility where he works?
