Police arrested a man seen chasing and assaulting a terrified woman in a neighborhood near downtown Las Vegas. The incident was captured on a homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera and uploaded to YouTube.com by Las Vegas police.

In the video, Darnell Rodgers, 23, is seen chasing the crying woman who jumped out of a white sedan and ran to a house.

Rodgers caught up to the woman and threw her to the ground. “Stop, Darnell,” she cried, as he kicked her in the abdomen, sending her tumbling down the steps. “Why would you do that?” he shouts before duck walking her back to the car.

While many viewers believed the woman was the victim of an abduction, police say it was a domestic violence incident.

Rodgers was charged with domestic battery charges. Police located the woman and she is safe.
