Avengers actress Evangeline Lilly refuses to self-quarantine at home, saying she values her "freedom" over preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The 40-year-old mother-of-two sparked outrage on Instagram.com when she dismissed the coronavirus as a "respiratory flu."
She even added fuel to the conspiracy theory that the coronavirus was orchestrated by the government to destroy the economy ahead of President Trump's reelection.
In a post earlier this week, Lilly shared an image of her "morning tea," which she captioned:
"Just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusual."
The actress is mom to 8-year-old Kahekili Kali, with her partner Norman Kali, as well as one other child.
"Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices," she wrote.
Her fans were quick to respond by pleading with the star to stay at home with her family.
