Before visiting the CDC in Atlanta on Friday, President Trump toured the devastation and destruction caused by a tornado in Tennessee. A loyal reader emailed Sandrarose.com to say Trump toured a neighborhood in Cookeville, Tennessee where 24 people died and many lost their homes.
Trump offered comfort and condolences to families who lost everything. “We love them, they’re special people,” he said. The president declared a state of emergency and promised disaster aid to help the residents rebuild their shattered neighborhood. Read the email below.

First, I would like to say that I am a loyal reader. Second, after reading the Trump post I had to come in and say the President was also in Tennessee yesterday declaring it a state of emergency. We had tornadoes that landed in parts of Nashville and surrounding areas and killed people. Thousands of people are without homes and electricity days after the storm. I don’t specifically know the schedule for the president and the recent virus is completely serious but I’m sure he was assessing the grounds in Tennessee yesterday.
