Floyd Mayweather Jr’s 19-year-old daughter Iyanna Mayweather will plead not guilty to stabbing one of her boyfriend rapper NBA YoungBoy’s 4 baby mamas.
Iyanna was arrested around 1 a.m. Saturday in Houston and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
TMZ Sports reported Iyanna was booked into the Harris County Jail after stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs during a heated confrontation at NBA YoungBoy’s home.
Jacobs, 25, suffered multiple lacerations to her arm and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She underwent surgery and was discharged.
Iyanna, also known as “YaYa”, reportedly stabbed Jacobs with two knives after arriving at the home and ordering her to leave the property.
Iyanna told police Jacobs sparked the fight by snatching her lacefront wig when the brawl moved from the kitchen to the front lawn outside.
Both women provided different accounts of what happened to police. Iyanna was released on $30,000 bond and ordered to stay away from Jacobs.
A police report obtained by TMZ noted Jacobs is the mother of at least one of YoungBoy’s four children.
TMZ reports YoungBoy, real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was briefly detained by police outside the home before being released.
The 20-year-old rapper later tweeted: “Hold it down for your love one’s up in heaven and they will do the same I’m very blessed and protected if you ask me… That’s very unprofessional though suck my dick b—-!!!!!”
YaYa (2nd from left) is Mayweather’s daughter from a previous relationship. The 43-year-old retired boxing champ has three children, Koraun (left), Zion (right), and Jirah (not pictured) by his former girlfriend Josie Harris, who died mysteriously last month. Her death is still under investigation.
