Actor Taylor Lautner, best known for playing Jacob Black in the “Twilight” film franchise, is expecting his first child with wife Taylor “Tay” Lautner.
Taylor, 34, and Tay, 29, began dating in 2018. They announced their engagement in November 2021 and they tied the knot in November 2022.
In March 2026, the happy couple announced they were expecting their first child.
On Sunday, June 7, the couple revealed their unborn baby’s gender in an emotional Instagram video.
“Our little secret is now yours,” they captioned the joint post. The couple sat on a couch while viewing a laptop. After clicking through prompts on the screen, Taylor threw his arms in the air and whooped, while Tay covered her mouth. Text on the screen read “girl”.
The 2 Taylors hugged each other and cried tears of joy. “We did it,” he said. Their followers congratulated them. Fans are wagering that they will name their daughter “Taylor” after themselves.
Taylor has a thing for women named Taylor. He dated pop superstar Taylor Swift for several months in 2009. The 2 Taylors graced the cover of every magazine and supermarket tabloid. The paparazzi couldn’t get enough of them.
