Rapper Mulatto, aka Big Latto, first made a name for herself as a kiddie rapper selling her mixtapes out of the trunk of her mom’s car.
After releasing a series of mixtapes and collaborating with other well-known rappers, she dropped out of Lovejoy High School in Clayton County, Ga. to pursue a recording career.
Mulatto is best known for winning the inaugural season of the Lifetime reality series The Rap Game. She signed to RCA Records after dropping her hit single “B*tch From Da Souf,” which peaked at number 5 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
Mulatto was offered a recording contract from Jermaine Dupri on his So So Def Records imprint, but she turned it down to go independent.
The shapely rapper boasts a huge following on social media (4.3 million followers on IG alone).
