A viral video shows a father and his children confronting an absentee mother who hasn’t seen the children in months.
We often hear about men abandoning their families, but absentee moms are becoming more common in the Black community.
The fed up father took his son and daughter to the cleaners where their mom worked to confront her while live-streaming on Facebook.
“How many months you ain’t see your mama?” he asked their daughter, who responded, “Two months.”
“Two months you been running from them,” said the angry dad. “And I’ma stay up here ’til the police come!”
Her son told his mom, “You left me in the house alone!”
When an officer arrived, the woman stated she filed a restraining order on her ex, but the cop was unable to find proof of a protective order in the system.
“Ask her how long the kids ain’t seen her,” the frustrated dad said. “Man, I ain’t seen my mama in a month,” his son tells the officer. “Two months,” his dad corrects him.
The angry dad told the cop he went to the workplace to give his ex some money. He added, he would bring his children to see her again if they asked him to.
