Fans of rapper Young Buck are happy to know he is safe and sound after his girlfriend was arrested for trying to kill him.
According to The Tennessean, Buck, real name David Darnell Brown, was arrested Thursday on assault charges, unlawful possession of a weapon and vandalism over $10,000.
He was booked into the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, jail records show. He was still in custody Friday, being held on $60,000 bail.
If you recall, the rapper’s girlfriend was arrested Tuesday and charged with reckless endangerment after she discharged a firearm at him during a verbal altercation.
Police say Lucresia Neil took aim with her pistol and fired multiple shots at the rapper as he fled their home in the Tower Hill subdivision in Hendersonville, Tenn.
Police were still searching for Brown a day later to determine whether he was wounded or he was in hiding because he feared for his life.
Jail records show Neil posted a $3,500 bond and was released from jail on Tuesday.
Brown, 39, was a member of 50 Cent’s hip-hop group G-Unit. 50 Cent (left) and Brown are pictured at a liquor store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Sept. 6, 2015.
