Lil Wayne responded to reports that his brief girlfriend Denise Bidot dumped him after he declared his support for President Donald Trump.
In her Instagram stories, a disappointed Bidot implied she split with the dreadlocked rapper over his political affiliations.
“Sometimes love just isn’t enough,” she wrote. They also unfollowed each other on Instagram. She was the only person Wayne followed until this past weekend when his follow count rolled back to zero.
Weezy seemed to address the rumors in a poetic tweet on Wednesday.
“I live the way I love and love the way I live. I’m a lover not a lighter bekuz they burn out. I am an eternal fire and burning love, either leave with a tan, a 3rd degree burn, or stay and die in love. You’re sweating. Sincerely, the fireman.”
