Bert Belasco — star of BET’s “Let’s Stay Together” — has died. He was 38.

Bert’s father, Bert Sr., tells TMZ his son’s body was found Sunday inside a hotel room in Richmond, VA — where he was about to start filming a new movie.

Bert Sr. says Bert was required to quarantine at the hotel before he could return to the set.

While the circumstances of his death are unclear, Bert’s girlfriend was unable to contact him and asked hotel staff to check on him. TMZ reports there was blood on his bed sheets when his body was discovered. The family is awaiting autopsy results.

His father tells TMZ he believes his son suffered a fatal aneurysm.

Bert is best known for playing Charles Whitmore on Let’s Stay Together for 52 episodes between 2011 and 2014.

He also appeared on several episodes of “Pitch,” “I’m Dying Up Here,” and roles in series such as “American Princess,” “Superstore,” “The Mick,” “The Soul Man,” “NCIS,” “Key and Peele,” and others.
