Lil Nas X appeared to confirm longstanding rumors about R&B crooner Usher Raymond. The one-hit wonder revealed his celebrity crush on the “Burning Questions” segment of the virtual Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.
The 21-year-old dressed up as a futuristic Santa Clause to promote his recently released Christmas-themed single, “Holiday.”
He named BTS as his favorite boyband; “Miami” by Nicki Minaj as his favorite song, and Doja Cat as his “dream collaboration.”
But when asked who he crushed on as a young boy struggling with his sexuality, Nas X held back before coughing up Usher’s name.
Social media speculated that this was Nas X’s subtle way of outing Usher, 42, who has long battled ghey rumors since he was mentored by Sean “Puffy” Combs, who moved the young singer into his home in the 1990s.
