Fashion designer Roksanda debuted her Fall 2021 line of voluminous dresses, luxury knitwear, chic suits and stylish coats at London Fashion Week.
"I'm a woman designing for other women; I'm conscious that the clothes need to be worn," designer Roksanda said in an interview over Zoom.
"Everything was touched by a human hand," she said, adding that one of the finalé dresses (worn by a model above) doubled as a "walking piece of art." It featured large ruffled sleeves, and an elongated neck.
Originally from Serbia, Roksanda studied Architecture before moving to London where she graduated with an MA in Womenswear from Central Saint Martins, according to her website.
Roksanda's structured design aesthetic make a loud statement and compliments a woman's body.
The striking color block sweaters and pantsuits in her 2021 Fall/Winter Ready to Wear collection commands attention on the fashion runway at London's Fashion Week.
