Candace Owens has had it with Cardi B‘s shenanigans on social media.
The conservative pundit announced she is suing the Atlanta-based rapper for sharing a false tweet about her husband, George Farmer.
Following a bitter back and forth with Owens on Twitter Tuesday, Cardi shared a Photoshopped tweet from Owens saying her husband cheated on her with her own brother.
“Yes, my husband did cheat on me with my brother,” the photoshopped tweet read. “Yes, he said no when I asked to join them.”
“Not you talking about two women thrusting their vaginas together while your husband and brother slap c-cks and balls together,” Cardi wrote in the accompanying tweet. “WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! wow”
Owens was livid at Cardi’s disrespectful tone and salacious innuendos.
“Just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense,” she tweeted Tuesday night.
“You can’t just start throwing out wild lies against private members of my family because you’re upset someone called your out on your degenerate performance [sic],” Owens continued. “I’ll keep you all posted.”
The Photoshopped tweet alleging that Farmer is bisexual and slept with Owens’ brother has been circulating on social media since last year.
Unfortunately for Owens, courts have ruled that calling someone a homosexual is not grounds for defamation per se since homosexuality is no longer a “crime of sodomy.”.
The best option for Owens is to block Cardi on social media and go on about her business.
The bitter dispute ensued after Owens told Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson on Monday that Cardi B’s Grammy performance of “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion was corrupting the minds of America’s youth.
Calling Cardi a “cancer cell to culture,” Owens tweeted:
“Young black girls are having their minds poisoned by what you are trying to package and sell to them as ’empowerment’.
“I’m one of the few that has courage to tell you the truth. You should thank me.”
But Cardi B hit back, tweeting: “Yaaaayyyyyyy We made Fox News guys !!! Wap wap wap.”
