Wendy Williams apparently caused a big stink when she let out a loud, wet fart while simultaneously burping during Monday’s “Wendy Show” episode.
The incidence of flatulence occurred while Wendy, 56, was in the middle of discussing Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s divorce drama.
“I apologize, I apologize,” she said quickly while her audience/crew laughed out loud.
An insider claimed Wendy cleaned up and changed into another black dress during a commercial break. Apparently, Wendy keeps identical outfits in her dressing room in case of an accident.
But Wendy’s team denied she changed her dress or cleaned up during a commercial break.
People with Graves’ disease (hyperactive thyroid) tend to have frequent loose stools or diarrhea. Accidents do happen.
If you recall last January (2020), Wendy and her team vigorously denied reports that she passed gas on national television.
“I barely fart,” she said at the time. “You know why? Because gas gets released several different ways and mine is belching, because all I do is talk.”
She continued:
“By the sound of that fart, I would have had to go change my costume! I would have left a mark in the seat. I wouldn’t even save the costume, I would have thrown it away. It’d probably be soiled beyond soiled-tivity.”
Wendy also explained that she leans on her chair armrest because sitting straight up is hard on her spine.
If you recall, Wendy’s producer Norman Baker and stagehand John Anderson explained that the wet farting sound occurred when they were filling a fish tank backstage for a science experiment.
This time there were no such denials from Wendy or her crew, as she quickly apologized live on air when she broke wind and burped.
What causes excessive flatulence?
Flatulence is the accumulation of gasses in the colon and rectum. Passing gas is normal. Most healthy people pass gas between 14 and 23 times a day. But if you break wind more than that, you should consult a doctor because you could have a more serious GI problem.
