An Augusta woman is wanted for assaulting another woman inside a Little Caesars Pizza on Monday.
The incident took place at 4 p.m. in a Little Caesar Pizza at 3221 Wrightsboro Road.
The victim, 22-year-old Emily Broadwater, and a 6-year-old girl were sitting at a table waiting for their pizza order.
Authorities say Brittany Kennedy, 25, approached Broadwater and an argument ensued. Kennedy pulled a chair out from under Broadwater, causing her to fall on the floor.
The attacker punched the victim repeatedly while grabbing her by the hair. Kennedy’s 6-year-old daughter rushed over to defend Broadwater, later identified as the girl’s stepmother.
The victim suffered bruises, facial lacerations, a black eye and a bloody nose.
The brutal scene was captured on multiple cell phones by patrons and even a Little Caesars Pizza employee.
As the video went viral on social media, both victim and attacker took to Facebook to explain their side of the story.
A Reddit post indicates Broadwater is now dating Kennedy’s baby daddy. The father has custody of the 6-year-old girl who was raised by Broadwater since she was 3-years-old.
Kennedy is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
She’s known to frequent the Fox Den area and the area where the assault happened, according to deputies.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080.
Even through all that, the stepmother was worried about the kid. That is a good stepmother
