A security guard is being hailed a hero for coming to the rescue of an elderly Asian man who was being assaulted by three women.
In a viral video taken at a gas station, three women are seen assaulting the elderly man as he sat in his car.
As the women pummeled the defenseless man, a security guard rushed over and stopped the attack.
Twitter users are calling the man a hero for stepping up to do what’s right. Many requested a GoFundMe link to send money to the man for responding above and beyond the call of duty.
Some Twitter users believe the three women are prostitutes and at least one of them is a transgender.
The video was posted on Twitter.com the same day Joe Biden signed a hate crimes bill in response to a rise in violence against Asian Americans.
One Black Twitter user feared the bill “will be used specifically against Black Americans.”
