One man was killed during an attempted carjacking of a Bentley that Fashion Nova mogul Richard Saghian was riding in.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Friday outside the fashion mogul's Hollywood Hills home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, three suspects in an Audi tailed the Bentley into the Hollywood Hills. Once the vehicle parked at Saghian's mansion, the three suspects jumped out and opened fire on the luxury motor car.

A source tells TMZ, Richard Saghian fled inside his home when the shots rang out.

A security guard was shot but returned fire hitting 2 of the suspects, killing one of them.

The Audi then fled with a flat tire. The LAPD caught up with the Audi just outside the border of Beverly Hills. The dead man was found in the car.

Cops say a wounded suspect was transported to the hospital, where he is in critical condition. The third suspect in the car was uninjured.

Police found the security guard under a Range Rover at a nearby house. Sources say the guard was a retired sheriff's deputy. He suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to a hospital.
