Dr. Heavenly Kimes was criticized on Twitter.com for “promoting slavery” by urging people to work for free to gain valuable experience.
Dr. Heavenly, star of Bravo TV’s Married to Medicine, runs a successful dental practice in a suburb north of Atlanta.
The reality TV star took time out of her busy schedule to drop employment advice to her Twitter followers who have enjoyed a year off from work while drawing Covid unemployment benefits.
Dr. Heavenly, pictured right with co-star Jacqueline Walters, suggested people on unemployment should work for free — since they’re already getting paid by the government to sit at home and do nothing.
“#Job101 work for free or for lesser pay. Prove yourself to your employer! Trust me if you are good, they will hire you with top pay in no time!”

Dr. Heavenly, who worked as an unpaid intern, urged people to work for free to gain valuable experience on the job.
However, her advice was not appreciated by many.
Unemployment benefits are scheduled to end in September.
You are missing the point. You need a millionaires mindset ! I worked as an intern for years! Gaining valuable knowledge in fact I paid them!… lol. People will see that based on there level of understanding!.. use your time to get in a better place ???????????? https://t.co/oQYLnslYpB

Stay jobless, you just don’t get it. But a successful person knows it doesn’t happen overnight you have to go get it ! https://t.co/QX5zWeXHwC

I don’t understand why so many people are getting offended by the things you are saying! You are speaking facts. In college I interned and they were really struck. Had to be to work at a certain time, strict on dress code, and if you were 10 minutes late you got fired!

Should workers be tweeting so much on the job? ?
