Kim Kardashian allegedly asked a teenage TikTok influencer to take down a video featuring her minor daughter North West.
North, who just turned 8 last month, is friends with That Girl Lay Lay, a 14-year-old singer and dance phenom who has a large following on TikTok. Lay Lay just landed her own Nickelodeon TV series.
According to the blogs, Lay Lay shared a video that shows North dancing to her music. It’s an innocent video which you can watch here.
However, Kim asked the teenager to take the video down because she wasn’t aware that Lay Lay had recorded North in her bedroom.
Kim is being a good mom by controlling her daughter’s media presence. North does not have an Instagram account of her own.
But social media users who were raised in single parent households dragged Kim for doing what’s best for her child.
The story went viral after Lay Lay allegedly wrote a post expressing her disappointment that Kim texted her to take North’s video down.
“@kimkardasian texted me to take down the new TikTok video with North in it… I don’t know why… they invited me to their house… this industry sucks!”
In a follow-up post, Lay Lay allegedly wrote, “I asked what did I do wrong and they didn’t answer me… so confused on what this industry is…”
Now Lay Lay’s mom Antanique (who is gorgeous) claims her daughter didn’t write the posts saying Kim made her take the video down.
Antanique says she contacted Lay Lay’s father regarding the video. Is Antanique implying that Lay Lay’s father wrote the posts and took the video down?
Also, how great is it that Lay Lay’s father is a totally hands-on dad?
