Kanye West brought out controversial music figures DaBaby and Marilyn Manson during his long-awaited DONDA album listening event at Soldier Field in Chicago on Thursday night, Aug. 26.

Kanye, who applied to legally change his name to “Ye,” poked the cancel culture bear by inviting rocker Manson who is currently facing multiple sexual abuse lawsuits.

Rapper DaBaby was recently “canceled” following his anti-HIV and homophobic rant at Rolling Loud festival in Miami in July.

As Kanye performed in front of a replica of his boyhood home, Manson appeared on the stoop of the structure followed by DaBaby.

Kanye purchased his mother’s house for $220,000 after it changed ownership multiple times.

As Kanye rapped “Jail” – the first single from DONDA, DaBaby performed Jay Z’s verse on the track.

It’s unclear whether or not DaBaby’s version will be a permanent replacement for the Jay-Z one or whether Manson has a feature on DONDA.

Kanye also brought out his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who wore a wedding dress as he performed “No Child Left Behind” – the final song of the night.

The controversial rapper concluded the evening by appearing to set himself on fire, then walking around with flames billowing from his suit.

Despite insistence from Kanye’s management that the DONDA album would drop Thursday night, a release date for the record has yet to be officially confirmed.
