An NFL wife is speaking out after her husband was sent home after a “close contact situation” with a staffer who tested positive for Covid-19.
Rachel Bush, who is married to Buffalo Bills star safety Jordan Poyer, took to social media to call out the league’s Covid-19 protocols.
Bush is a social media influencer and Instagram model with 1.7 million followers on Instagram. She was annoyed that Poyer was sent home for 5 days after a “close contact situation” with a vaccinated Bills staff member who tested positive for Covid-19.
Poyer is among 5 unvaccinated Bills players who tested negative for Covid-19 but were sent home anyway.
Bush tweeted on Tuesday afternoon:
“All these headlines should be starting off with ‘vaccinated staff member…’ then take it where you want it. But the reason we are missing 5 guys right now is because of a VACCINATED PERSON. Call it like it is.”

Bush declined to name the fully vaccinated Bills staff member who tested positive for Covid-19. But she said the rules need to be addressed.
“I don’t want to point fingers at the staff member either.. he/she had no choice, they had to keep their job. It’s the rules that need to be addressed and changed because the vaccinated are putting others at risk. It’s very clear now.”

It’s funny how that part is very much left out

They need to test everyone the same. Treating vaccinated people differently with the information we now have, is negligent and foolish

Simply doesn’t fit their narrative. This policy is obviously going to cause more vaccinated players to infect others due to not being tested. The real question should be, if we were not testing everyone, how many players would actually show symptoms?

So the 5 missing were unvaccinated. So what happens to everyone else (vaccinated) who were in close contact with this person? Shouldn't they be "missing" as well since vaccinated people can spread it?

The problem is if your vaxxed everyone will act like their protected when they're clearly not, this will never end since the selfish vaxxed who will not research or take precautions will continue spreading this virus.

Your ignorance is appalling. Vaccinated people don't spread the virus. But being vaccinated doesn't prevent you from being a close contact.
