Ray J is reportedly battling pneumonia in a Miami, Florida hospital. It isn’t clear if Ray J is vaccinated against Covid-19.
The 40-year-old singer/actor announced his diagnosis in a statement to a social media blog on Tuesday.
“I been in here all by myself for a week,” he told Hollywood Unlocked. “No family members came to see me, not even my wife.”
Ray J said he can’t have visitors due to the hospital’s Covid-19 precautions.
“God is good. Family with me — just can’t be n here too much sickness. I can’t have visitors because they isolated they room — been on my [phone] with my family everyday all day.”
Last week, Ray J announced he is separated from his wife, Princess Love, again.
He scrubbed photos of his estranged wife from his Instagram page, and he captioned one post: “Separated and single.”
Princess, 37, is best known for her recurring role on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Ray J and Princess share a daughter Melody Love Norwood, 3, and a 22-month-old son.
Ray J is best known for dating reality star Kim Kardashian from 2003 until 2006. They went viral when their sex tape was leaked to the public.
Ray J’s sister is R&B singer and actress Brandy Norwood.
