Ciara Wilson had a bad hair day while promoting the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines to children at the White House on Wednesday.
Ciara, who is married to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, brought along her children: daughter Sienna Princess, 4, and sons Future Zahir, 7, and Win Harrison, 1.
First Lady Jill Biden toured the White House with Ciara and her children before heading over to the South Portico, where they waved at Pres. Joe Biden before he boarded Marine One.
The pop singer told her three children to “Wave bye,” as the little ones obeyed.
Ciara held onto her wig as the wind whipped furiously around her on the portico.
“They are filming a digital product encouraging pediatric vaccines,” East Wing spokesman Michael LaRosa told DailyMail.com. The FDA and CDC approved the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines for children ages 5-11.
An aide made sure Ciara’s wig was straight before she spoke to reporters in the White House’s press room.
Ciara is the latest celebrity to promote vaccines for the White House. In July, pop star Olivia Rodrigo visited Pennsylvania Avenue to urge young people to get vaccinated.
